Why use Snail Harbour ?

Fresh water snails are harmful to tropical Aquarium, Specie such as the Malaysian Sand Snails and Ramshorn can easily reduce the finest specimen of tropical plants to feeble looking stems in a few days.

There are chemical products on the market for the eradication of these pests, however the use of such chemicals can not only disrupt the fine biological balance of the aquaria, but also cause massive pollution problems with the ammonia surge from the dead and dying snails.

The inventors of Snail Harbour , Mike Walsh a professional aquarist of some 25 years and David Orchard , an Engineering Designer of 40 years, decided to pool their knowledge in their respective fields to find a Simple, Safe and Cost effective way to solve the problem of snail infestation in Tropical and Cold water Aquaria.

Does it really work ?

We have had letters from customers who admitted their original skepticism but were so delighted with the results they took the trouble to write, someone who does that must be satisfied! We can't prove it to you but isn't a resolution of the snail problems which afflict our aquaria worth \\$10?

How does it work ?

Put bait in your Snail Harbour and leave it in your Aquarium overnight. Remove it next morning with its collection of snails. A heavy infestation may result in all the bait being consumed over night, in which case leave only for an hour or two before inspection and re baiting. Click here for more information.
